What is your favorite thing about Fall?

I love fall. It is my favorite season and I know many of yours. Fall has even become H's favorite season.
Let us talk about and take a poll about how wonderful fall is![Poll]

Re: What is your favorite thing about Fall?

  • Boots! Specifically knee-high boots. And cute hats...
  • I love everything!  I've been to the apple orchard twice already this year!  I love the apple slushies from the orchard, cooler weather, leaves turning colors, the beautiful scenery in the country, pumpkins, halloween, our anniversary :-).  I love all things about the fall!  I'm so glad we live in a state where we have 4 seasons!

  • The trees! I looooove my hometown in northwest NJ during the fall. The trees are so bright and colorful!

    I miss it.

  • Halloween is my fav thing - our fall is sometimes more like an extension of summer - not much changing of the colors of leaves like on the East Coast. Plus I hate being cold :-)
  • Most favorite: it not being 5000 degrees outside.

2nd fav: everything pumpkin/salted caramel at Starbucks

  • I hate summer. I really, truly do. Even when I was little I would rather be in school than have it be summer. I hate heat. The perfect weather for me is in the mid 60s. So, I would have to say the the weather is my favorite part. However, I pretty much love everything else too. I love the clothes, and the warm drinks, and the leaves and pumpkins and the cozy feeling of fall. I am so happy I got through this record hot summer without A/C, in our 3rd floor walk up. I told myself I would never take a sweater for granted again... and I won't.

I've been to a couple of orchards.  The one I like most is Anderson Orchard in Mooresville.  I love to pick apples, and they allow you to pick apples.  I've also been to Apple Works with DH's sister and our niece.  It's good for the pumpkin patch!

  • Oh gosh I hadn't even thought about candy corn. Yum!

fall in the south is Sooo different. I think it's fall here when we get into the 80's. It gets into the 70,s and its chilly out.

Those trees look gorgeous! I can see why it's hard to adjust to a warmer fall.
