Help me accessorize

Hi ladies,

Ive got a wedding in two weeks, a nautical-themed shindig on a tiny little island here in NY.

I think I'm wearing this... http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/style-co.-dress-three-quarter-sleeve-lace-shift?ID=694612&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results

Im happy to go buy shoes, accessories, and whatnot, but need to do so on the cheap, because the gift and accommodations are costing us a small fortune.  Any advice?

Re: Help me accessorize

  • I'd go simple and silver (or white if you're really trying to go along with the nautical theme): big silver hoop earrings or rhinestone studs, silver bangle bracelets (similar to what the model is wearing), then a clutch and heels or ballet flats, also in silver. The dress has a lot going on, so it's good to keep everything else simple. And all of that stuff is easily found at a beauty supply store and Payless. GL!
  • I would wear a long necklace, smaller dangle or hoop earrings, and simple bangles. Keep everything somewhat matching.

Closed toe pumps in silver or black would look cute for a fall wedding. I think you can keep everything understated because the dress is fun and doesn't need a lot of help.
