Need some bathroom tile help
I don't think I've ever posted here, but really need some expert advice.
We need to replace the vanity in our bathroom, there is no tile under it right now and I need to have a wall mounted or a pedestal sink for space purposes. I have no extra tile, I tried to scavenge some from the bathroom closet, but that was a big fat fail. I have heard of people using different tile under there sink so give a completely different look, but I can not visualize this. Have any of you ever heard of it? Due to time and money I am not prepared to rip up the whole floor right now, but this is in the 5 year plan, so this fix doesn't have to last forever. TIA.

You could create a "rug" design by using different tile under the sink. You may need to take out addional tiles to get the effect, but at least it will look like it meant to be there.
