Lies, Lies and More Lies?

First of all, my man is stingy and only care for himself. He bought a trucj that cost $500+ a month and then could not give me money on the bills.  I had to use my school money and my dissabilty to pay the bills.  I (we) eventually had to move back in with my mother because I could not pay the bills on my own.  Every time I have EVER asked him for money, he says he is broke.  He has a full time job.  He also spends his grandmothers dissability money that is in her back account, since she has been in a nursing home since December 2011.  When I ask where is his money, he say "WE spent it".  I laugh.  I found a bank statement and showed him that ALL of the purchases on the statement were his, at fast food places, etc. while he is on the job.  He had nothing to say (win for me!)  Yesterday, I recieved a bill from the rest home his grandmother is at.  The total bill is over $6000.  He has only paid the monthy co-pay once and that was in August 2012, and I filled out the money order.  Today, he got a statement from Wells-Fargo for his truck loan.  He has been 2 months behind for several months.  He loves to splerge money and has not concept for family and bills first.  OK, now....The resthome statement says the no co0pay has been sent this month, but he tells me that he sent it on the 2nd.  (smh) the Wells-Fargo statement says that he paid $998 on the 4th.  He caught up his truck payment with his grandmothers money.  I know he did, the pieces all fit....I (playing devils advocate) asked him what he was going to do to cath up his truck payment? He went into an elobrate explanation of how he was going to get a few pay-day loans to catch it up, etc.  (smh, again)....What should I do? Kick him out and not look back or stay in this wrecked relationship? He has also (from day one) always corrected everything I say or do, and is very abrasive, I have been in this relationship for 1.5 yrs.  He is partically impotent and acts like he is God.  Last month, He asked me to marry him then said...."oh, I meant AFTER we work on "us" and our issues, "work toward: marrage....but thats not what he origionally said.  I have had to deal with ladies from his past and his ex-wife.  Its been real hard to stay in this relationship....but now that he is lying....I want to be DONE!  For GOOD!  What would you do? I am furious and pulling my hair out!  He is very very handsome but looks are not worth the drama? (please forgive any typos)[Poll]

Re: Lies, Lies and More Lies?

  • Honestly, I would leave if I were in this situation. If he is lying, can't set his priorities and is this flimsy and careless with money, why would any of that change if you marry him? I say leave-get out of the relationship, get back on your feet and focus on yourself for a while. Clearly this guy isn't worth your time and frustration.

     Yes

  • This was enough for me:

Do yourself a big big favor and get rid of this cheap inconsiderate bastard.

    Reason being:

    He's inconsiderate
    he's cheap
He also will NOT embrace the "our money" concept after you and he are married.

I would also visit Social Security Administration and let them know what type of fraud he is committing with government money. He could go to jail for this.

    Btw, it's disablity, not dissability.

And I too am having a very difficult time getting through your post. Your grammar and syntax and spelling are outrageously poor.

  • "He also spends his grandmothers dissability money that is in her back account, since she has been in a nursing home since December 2011."

Are you FLUCKING serious?!  Should you leave him..yes.  He should also go to prison for stealing from his GRANDMOTHER.  idiot.

    That's what I said exactly.

And I can't get over the 'trujic" part (or however she spelled it) haha -- I thought she was talking about something completely different...and then I realized that the little dickens was trying to say "TRUCK"!!!!!

    THIS x 1000000000000000000000000000

As far as the poor spelling/grammar, I'm willing to MAYBE give it a pass because there have been times when I've been that fcuking angry or upset about something that all spelling/grammar rules go out the window when typing....

OP - if this is not made up, please leave this dooshbag loser....1.5 years is not such a long time so cut your losses now before this guy drags you down even further...

  • As far as the poor spelling/grammar, I'm willing to MAYBE give it a pass because there have been times when I've been that fcuking angry or upset about something that all spelling/grammar rules go out the window when typing....

We have spelled "disability" incorrectly more than once.

And to the OP: if he steals from his grandma, he will steal from anybody -- and that can include YOU. He more or less already has: he's stiffed you with the bills. You ain't exactly rolling in dough. Remember that.

    This is a man?

No, this is a creep with no character, no integrity, no honesty and no morals. His exYF is well rid of him; so are the rest of whatever women he managed to ensnare.

You'd do the right thing if you joined these ladies in bidding him good riddance to bad rubbish.
  • You're so lucky that your not marriage or have children with him! Get out NOW!!

That right there is enough to dump a man. I would have never stayed in a relationship like yours for as long as you have.

  • OP...you don't strike me as being the brightest bulb in the bunch.  No doubt you're angry now but you'll forgive him and continue to lie to yourself that it's not as bad as you're making it out to be.  Then you'll probably marry him.  SMH!
  • Why is there even a question here?

  • Sis, why are you even with this jerk at all?

I wouldn't give him the time of day if I had 6 arms full of Rolexes.

    And neither should you.

you also strike me as being very young. And I will bet  you he's using you as a cash cow.

Get rid of him and do it posthaste.

You've got your work cut out for you --- you said you were at your mother's house? Very good: do yourself a favor and stay there. Maybe the creep won't notice yer gone, with a little luck.;)

And your mother permitted this creep to move into her home? Wow. I can't tell you what I think of that one.

I'm surprised your mother didn't take his arse and boot it right out the door -- unless she thinks he's this great guy who is just wonderful to you. Yeah, well, time to pull the package on him and tell all.

A man who lives off other people or steals is no man at all. FInk on him to Social Security and do it today. He belongs in jail -- this is stealing and abuse of the elderly!
  • Just kick him to the curb. No need to waste another moment of your life on him.
  • There are more and more horror stories about elderabuse.

Elderabuse isn't just neglect --- it's also stealing from the elderly (and the infirm) and taking them for all their worth..

I urge you to report this guy to the police and the Social Security Administration --- the nearest large town should have an office; go there in person.

And I don't know how old his g'ma is but maybe she even has a pension he's also stealing from her.

Take this bastard's deeds to the cops and the SSA and do it tomorrow. As I said, he belongs in jail.

The only problem, and I've seen it many times when I was a teller, is that if she simply added him to her account so that he could pay her bills then "legally" it's his money too. The proper way is to do a power of attorney but since that requires a lawyer, too many people take the easy way and just add them to the account. People are too trusting and don't like to think that family would steal from them.

  • sounds like a selfish dirtball! who spend's their grandmother's money and then doesn't pay the bills to the care facility she is at. Ditch him.
  • Ummm...Why is there even a question?

    1. Dump the dirtbag

    2. Get a JOB

    3. Take a class. You could use some education...and spell check.

  • When I was at the call center for my bank we saw it all the time too. I'm sick of our own bank reps suggesting that elderly customers just add their helper as a signer - it strips them of their protection!! -_- I got in trouble once for telling off a banker who had suggested it, haha. Although, it can still be reported as elder abuse they were added in "good faith" but it's much more difficult.

Did you see that a couple states now require us (banks) to report it to this new agency if we see it? I forget all the states, but I know MD was one of them. I wish that was in effect for all states. I just had to do a training even though I don't work in consumer accounts anymore.

Also, the POA doesn't necessarily require an attorney. That's the most common way to have them issued, but you can get those documents online and certified by notaries too. They don't need a "full service" POA necessarily, just one that the bank will accept for that account's purposes.

OP - for the love of all that is good in the world please report this man to SSA and the police. What he is doing is STEALING.

Oh and leave him - but seriously? You have to ask?
