Activities for the weekend that don't cost???

Anyone have any ideas for the weekend that don't cost alot of money?  My boyfriend and I want to do something together...but we don't have much money!  He has a 14 year old son that we want to include in our plans!

  • I don't really know what's available in Oregon, but in Boston we have a bike share program - you can rent bikes by the hour or by the day and see the city in a new way.  You three could also find a nature trail nearby and do a hike, bringing a picnic lunch.  Is there a minor league sports team you could see?  Those tickets are usually pretty reasonably priced.
  • Do you like the outdoors? If so, what about hiking or camping (having s'mores around a fire). State parks are usually inexpensive as well as national parks and forrests. In my area I look for free concerts and what is happening at our outdoor theater.
  • It's the fall of the year. Is there any areas near you that have "fall Activities"? Like hay rides, corn mazes, apple picking, pumpkin patches, or any Fall Festivals? These are usually inexpensive to go to.
