New B with a design dilemma, Can you help me decide?
I have this great cabinet that I love (pictured above) but after moving into my new home this week it no longer fits in my bedroom and I would love to use it under my TV in the Living room. The problem is that my living room Sofa is Dark brown Leather and the black just does not look right. I would like to paint it but I'm not sure what color.
This is the color of my walls
I have these great paisley pillows that are a mix of Granny apple Green, a muted Grass green, a Sky blue and a Navy blue. I have navy curtains and other sky blue throw pillows. Most of my accents in my Kitchen (off of the living room) are apple green. I would like to make a statement but would like to use one of the colors from my pillows. What would you pick?
One more question if you are still reading... I am also looking for a large area rug to anchor my living area (all of my floors down stairs are the same medium ash wood floors) I am stumped on what color area rug I should get and if I should get a patterned rug or a plain rug?

And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
I would consider painting it white and then including baskets that are colourful to accent the piece. That way if you want to change it it wouldn't be an issue.
If you did want to paint it a colour I'd likely go with apple green.

If you must paint it, go for white or off white. I can't imagine black looking too terrible, though...I have a black TV stand and a light brown couch and I think it looks fine....
