Picture frame and Canvas on a wall?

I need some help...not sure if it would be ok to put regular picture frames and canvas together on the same wall? Any suggestions?

I'm not decorating pro so you can take my response with a grain of salt. I personally wouldn't include them on the same wall unless there's something dividing them (a book case, table). I wouldn't have an issue putting them in the same room, just not too close together on the same wall.

I think it really depends on the size and content of what is on the picture and the canvas, and the size of the wall. We have a wall thats kind of our "latin wall" as we have done quite a bit of travelling in latin america, and have a small canvas that is a sunset in latin colors and a framed piece of art of kids at a beach on the same wall. It works for us, but if it was a huge canvas or unrelated content...I probably would have seperated them.
