Kernal

If you're around, can you give me the details on how you got a fantastically priced hotel for you and the dude, over the summer I think it was?  Debating on doing this for DH and I for our anniversary next month since we actually have an overnight sitter!

Re: Kernal

  • Hey! I used Priceline and I put in the highest rating stars and I think I started at $100. It worked out really well and we were happy!

  • That would be priceline-name your own price. Choose your date, location, star rating and price, fill in your credit card info and if your price is accepted, you get a notification letting you know which hotel you are booked at; you don't get to pick your hotel. I've used NYOP on a number of occasions and have always been happy with the hotel I got for the price I paid. You can only make an offer once a day. I always start at exactly half of what they say current hotels in that area/star rating go for and increase my offer by $10 each day until my offer is accepted.
