Its been 2 months that my husband, Brad, and I have been living back and forth at his friends and MILs. But after a few job interviews and such, we're hoping this will be the week we can get some answers on when and where we can start settling down, at least for a little while. It would be so nice to take my things out of suitcases, and have some privacy finally!
Does anyone relate?
Re: fingers crossed
My husband and I are now on our own but for a bit we were bouncing around. We have been married 5 years but things weren't fully settled until 2 years into it. When my husband and I first got married he was in the navy. We lived together the first 7 months of our marriage but we had roomates. He received news that he had to go out to sea for 2 months then spend some time in Hawaii and come back a month later. During that time our lease had run out and we didn't have time to look for a new place so I had to live with my mom while he was gone. Then when he came back we wanted to buy a home 2 hours away from my parents instead of rent. The home we bought was a foreclosure and needed some major renovation. By that time I had my daughter and the home was just too dangerous for her and my son to be in. So my husband would do all this driving around to come and see us.
Once you finally get settled it's a great feeling
