DC Metro Question

On Wednesday my office is heading to the Nationals Game (1:05 start time). We are taking the metro to the game. Our plans are to catch the metro at Greenbelt and take it to the Navy Yard (baseball stadium). My question is if we arrive a little bit before 11 will there be parking?? If we can't find parking, what over station should try?? I would like to have this all mapped out before we leave.

Any suggestions would be great.

Re: DC Metro Question

  • I don't know about greenbelt, but new Carrollton has a privately owned lot right across the street from the station that would have parking.  The garages and old lots might be full by then, but that lot (which is $4 a day) usually has spots open then

  • I've never had a problem finding a parking spot at Greenbelt and I've parked there all different times of the day/week. The parking lot there is huge.
