WWMay'12D?

I jokingly told H that we could put off TTC if we could go to Hawaii next year. I never thought he'd even consider it, but told me to research cost. Would you put off TTC to go to Hawaii?

Keep in mind we're on the East Coast, so if we go this would likely be the only time we went due to the expense. Also, we had wanted to go to Hawaii for our HM, but it was cost prohibitive at the time.

I'm way torn.

  • Why not?! It could be one last fling before a little one, or your kick off for TTC!

  • Why not start TTC in Hawaii?!? Romantic walks on the beach are a great to umm,  get the juices flowing - so to speak :) Plus, it's a good way to remember the trip!

To answer your question, yes I would put off TTC to go on any vacation especially to Hawaii!

This is what I was going to say!  Although we aren't even sure if we want kids, much less right now.

  • Start TTC in Hawaii! It's the perfect place to start trying. As far as would I put it off no! My reason being H and I feel like we can take crazy trips when we are older and retire. If we have kids now then we will still be young when they are grown and out of the house. With our careers once H gets hired he can retire with full benefits after so many years we figured it up to be about 50 years old. And around the same time for myself so it's still plenty young enough to travel.

    yes! this!

  • Unless you're dying to have kids right away, why not postpone for a bit?  I say go to Hawaii, and like PP said, try to conceive there!  How fun!
  • Hawaii!!!!

  • YES go to Hawaii!!!! If you get pregnant or have a baby you can kiss that dream goodbye! ;) I say even wait to TTC if you are wanting to do any kind of traveling in the next couple of years! I think its worth it.
