Wedding dress help
in Married Life
I've been married for ten months and I do not know what to do with my dress, I didn't get it cleaned because it doesn't look dirty to me lol!! And it's in te bag I purchased it in and it's in my closet can anything happen to it if I don't get it cleaned or do any of that stuff to it? Because I want to keep it for when we have a daughter incase she might want to wear it, help please, should I do something to it? Also I'm we here and I don't know all the abbreviations you ladies use, such as DH DD and so on, help me please

If you want to save it for you daughter, you need to get it cleaned and preserved. If you don't, it will end up yellowing (or possibly get destroyed by moths and what-not). I pulled out my mom's from 30 years ago a few weeks back. She hadn't gotten it perserved and it was yellow (she got married in a white gown).
As for abbreviations, I don't know them all but I know a few.
DH- dear husband
DD- dear daughter
DSD- dear step-daughter
DS- dear son
DSS- dear step-son
MIL- mother-in-law
FIL- father-in-law or future in-laws
FMIL- future mother-in-law
FFIL- future father-in-law
MUD- Made up drama
BSC- bat s*** crazy
Those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head. If you have any specific ones, just list them and I'll decipher :-)
