Re: Birthday/Football Watching Menu
I make that spiced popcorn, but somewhere the recipe I had included honey roasted nuts. It made a nice spicy/salty/sweet. The apps feel a little carb heavy. I'd probably move the apples to the apps and ditch the pigs and blanket. You can put them back out with the dessert too.
The main feels very main dish heavy. What about some fort of spinach salad? I did a 7 layer for my kid's party and it was a hit too.
I'm just going to throw this out there too. I know a lot of people are still anti chick-fil-A.
This doesn't sound too bad, however I'd personally stick with one main dish, the sliders with sweet potato fries would be my choice (we did that for a super bowl party once). You can make it so its a "slider bar" and just put out different types of sliders (beef, turkey, veggie...?) and have a bunch of different condiments and buns for your guests to choose from.
I'd also use the mac & cheese cups as an appetizer and probably drop the pretzels. And put out some mixed nuts.
Your menu is great, and maybe its just me, but there seems to be a lot of different food on it. How many guests are you expecting?
We'll be having about 2 guests. I was thinking last night to do beef and chicken sliders, maybe chick-fil-a style, and then the bar of toppings, so I'm totally with you on that.
We'll have a few kids, and DH has specifically asked for soft pretzels, so they'll be staying, but will probs be store-bought to save me some time. Yeah, Costco!
For what it's worth, I have a fully acknowledged problem with abundance and really like variety when I'm doing a party like this. I haven't found a 12-step program that works for me as of yet.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
Oh, it's not until the 28th, plenty of time for me to change my mind a million times.
