I love snow! We rarely see it here. And if we do its in March/April which makes no sense.
I'm in Manitoba too!
I can deal with the snow. It's the 50 km/hr (31 mile/hr) winds I can't handle. And also being pelted with hail from all directions.
Mother Nature has been a real biotch this year.
Well at least someone else here feels my pain
I agree, that wind is brutal, feels like it comes from every direction.
My uncle recently posted about how he was heading to the midwest for work and they were expecting snow there, thats so crazy! I can't believe how early the snow seems to be coming, some days it seems really warm here still, but the colder weather is definitely making an apperance.
How much snow did you end up getting?
I feel for you. Once I left living in colder climates and moved to Florida, I am too used to Florida "winters"- - usually 60s and 70s, to ever go back to cold weather. I am now a "Florida girl" for life. I am sure it's beautiful in Manitoba- - in the summer
; whereas, it's just humid and miserable here in the summer.
