FFFC?

I may or may not have stayed up until 2am reading the latest Sylvia Day book... which lead to me skipping my workout this morning.  Totally worth it, though.

Re: FFFC?

  • I like the idea of charting my cycle but i've become completely obsessed and wish I wasn't doing it
  • I ironed a shirt collar the other day while I had the shirt on.  I burned myself.
    my read shelf:
B's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)

It does become obessive. I did it for a year and I was TTA which is totally insane. But you have obsessive reasonings that are totally normal. How long have you been charting?

    this is the first month

  • I'm also charting, but to avoid not TC.  And I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right.
  • I've been really moody to DH this week. I think it might because Im getting to the point where I am resenting his lack of responsiblity around the house. For example, if I am off for the day, unless I am dying sick, Im expected to get stuff done around the house. Weekends I am expected to do the same. He took off 2 days in August (his birthday and a day to go fishing) as well as today (to go crabbing) and hasnt done sh!t to work on the house or pack it up. Then gives me crap because I have to take 4 hours out of the weekend to dress shop for a wedding and not work on the house. If I am not working on the house, he wont either. But I can work on the house and it be ok for him not to. I have had enough. Now if hes not doing something, neither am I. I dont want to move anyway. I agreed because I know its time, and we need to do it, but I dont want to give up the extra money we have now to move into another house.  So hes pissy that hes painting on Saturday while Im out "having the time of my life" dress shopping for my brothers wedding. Yeah tons of fun!

His reasoning is because its my stuff, I have to pack it. If it were up to him he would throw it all out and be happy with it. His mother is a knick nack junky and has 14 items sitting on the tank of her toilet in a carefully set up way. This goes for any open and availible space in their entire house and has always been like that. So DH has this utter hatred for any unnecessary items. Hes just getting worse.

He hasnt always been very easy to ignore in these types of situations, but now, I have no plroblem with letting him know about himself. He compained that the house wasint on the market yet and I flat out told him it wasnt for my lack of trying. Hes finally backed off me about it, but for christ sakes! Our house is half packed, half not! I want this done! i have already gone back into 4 boxes of stuff I packed up.

  • Ok, that was more of a rant. Sorry.

I did it for over year. After about 4 cycles the novalty wore off. Mostly because we were TTA thought. I really hope you dont have to chart for that long.

Its just a cool thing to see how your body works through temperature and how you notice different things at different points of the month. Once you start recognizing these things your body is doing that coinside with your chart you will feel more relaxed. There is not a single thing wrong with being excited about TTC and charting. You will know when you have had enough and will chill out about it.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions.

  • I was quite passive aggressive with MIL today, hopefully she gets the point through :-D

I might have taken a little long doing lesson plans today so I didn't have time to go to the playground.

So here is mine----   I love my BF and we have been playing crazy phone tag.  I may or may not have been so tired this week that I hit ignore on her calls simply b/c my brain couldn't function.
