If you had to choose just one cause to champion/rally around, what would it be? It doesn't have to be a politcal cause. What would you choose to support with all your financial and physical means?
Re: If you had to choose?
I would pick Remote Area Medical.
The Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps is a non-profit, volunteer, airborne relief corps dedicated to serving mankind by providing free health care, dental care, eye care, veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.

You may have seen them featured on 20/20 and Dateline. They do such amazing work for those in need.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (well I already do support them with all I can). My DD has Type 2 diabetes and I pray they discover a cure in her lifetime.
Putting an end to female circumcision.
Yeah I know, never happen. But I would
spend it all to try.
I can imagine so. So very sorry.

I second adoption. Both private and foster. I think a lot can be done to improve the system in terms of time and the financial cost.
It took my mother 9 years to adopt 2 kids. All children deserve a loving home.
omg...i'm so sorry. Domestic violence is a passion of mine as well and you don't have to be hit and have bruises for it to be considered abuse. All forms: verbal, mental, physical are so very wrong. I've had experience with this unfortunately
I feel so terrible for anyone who has to experience this. This is a great cause to champion. I am very sorry for your loss.
Does anyone have a specific organization they donate to or volunteer for that helps victims of domestic violence? I haven't been involved with one yet and I'm thinking it's something I'd like to do.

I am really sorry to hear this.
I don't want to open this up again. I deleted my comments, which were my personal experience.
My personal cause would be organ donation.
