It's quite entertaining!! I must admit. I have enough confidence to not let what others say effect me.
Plus, I've been here long enough to know that there is usually at least one person bullied on almost every thread (many times for no reason whatsoever). It's a very dramatic place.
This is a great site indeed!
Heres the thing though, cats. I know myself, Sookie, fezzes, Ella, coffee, and most others who criticize your posts are not bullies whatsoever. We just have low tolerances for bullsh?t.
I will speak for myself from here on out. Most of what you post is bullsh?t. There are certainly a couple of Republicans here on TB and Tn who I have the utmost respect for. You, however, never really have anything of substance to say. You link fear-mongering links and YouTube videos that have little to no factual content whatsoever, and expect us to take you seriously. The only comments I ever see by you are quoting other Republicans with "I agree!!!!!" and "Obama sucks!!!!!"
So forgive me if I makes jokes about your posts, but what do you expect with what you say here? Not even your Republican friends on this board agree with this stuff, because it is all lies and sensationalism.
I'm referring to The Nest in general, not necessarily this area. No matter where I post or if someone else posts with a "situation" you can be sure that cocky comments will follow after just a few responses.I really wonder how old some of you people are.

My time is very limited here. I do not have the downtime to write paragraphs about issues like some of you do. I prefer not to dwell on the on the internet. I post what I find interesting in hopes that people might read or discuss. Instead, name calling begins almost immediately. There have been a few other Republicans on here who have done the same (posted an article) yet their thread is ignored.
I made the "women" comment because someone could say it's beautiful outside today in a thread on The Nest and someone will surely find a reason to go apeshit on the person. So, my conclusion is that some of you are pregnant or married or planning a wedding are miserable. I haven't seen this much rudeness in any other forum. I have been on cooking forums, hobby forums, and health forums.
My first post here many years ago was asking people if anyone has rented a trolley for their wedding. I asked in two forums because one was very slow. What do you know some a-hole appeared out of nowhere calling me names for going on two boards.
If something bothers me I don't create drama for f#ck's sake.
They are legitimate articles, at least imo! I'm not convincing/forcing anyone to agree with my views. People just need to calm down on this site. Read the article respond if you want w/o bashing would be nice or there's such a thing called ignoring people/threads.
The reason I asked how old you people are is because I have never seen this level of ganging up/bashing as I do on these boards.

I don't think all Republican women are not proud, no. But I do think those women who have been brought up to believe that they don't have control over their bodies or that, even subconsciously, believe men are superior are more likely to be Republican.
I think the comment about this being a board of women is proof that you think lesser of your own gender. And that is sad.
