Re: Honeymoon-related questions

  • Just curious: If you are on the pill why do you also use condoms and pull out method?
    Anniversary
  • Lose the condoms and let him leave it in.
  • If you're married and on BCP, why use condom?

  • Its not that we're worried about diseases or anything. We just have to be really careful because we do not want kids for a while and it just makes us feel better since a baby that isn't planned could be really bad for me with my size and a heart issue I have to have monitored. We probably won't continue to pull out. That's just how it is for now. His idea actually.

  • In answer to your actual question.

Unless there are specific allergies from either of you two, silicon condoms/lube are usually the way to go in water. You can read the packets for other ingredients that will work. Latex condoms - and this sounds counter-intuitive, but its true - will leave things feeling a little dry.

As for getting him out of the way for a while, I just give my H a job or send him on an errand.

I am guessing there is a fear of pregnancy; this is a psychological issue. A sex therapist can clear that up.
  • Could he run out and get you something?  I really wanted ice cream from DQ, so he went out an got us some while I got ready.  Also, if you want to stick with condoms, kudos to you for being extra safe.  Is there a way that you could not use one this time and do pull out?

I know a lot of ladies use LUSH bath products for a bath to spice things up.  I have heard amazing things about the sex bomb and whipped bars, but have not used them myself.

    Have fun. :)

  • Sounds like you should learn more about your body, start to chart.  Condoms you dont need at this point.
