In answer to your actual question.
Unless there are specific allergies from either of you two, silicon condoms/lube are usually the way to go in water. You can read the packets for other ingredients that will work. Latex condoms - and this sounds counter-intuitive, but its true - will leave things feeling a little dry.
As for getting him out of the way for a while, I just give my H a job or send him on an errand.
I am guessing there is a fear of pregnancy; this is a psychological issue. A sex therapist can clear that up.
Could he run out and get you something? I really wanted ice cream from DQ, so he went out an got us some while I got ready. Also, if you want to stick with condoms, kudos to you for being extra safe. Is there a way that you could not use one this time and do pull out?
I know a lot of ladies use LUSH bath products for a bath to spice things up. I have heard amazing things about the sex bomb and whipped bars, but have not used them myself.
