I have a question for you all.
I have noticed that, in my neighborhood, the signs are all about Obama- either pro Obama signs, or the ones that say "NOPE" instead of "HOPE", or "Nobama". I have not seen a single Romney/Ryan sign. The local repubs have candidate support signs, but only negative Obama signs.
I remember in 2008 there were a lot of pro signs for both McCain and Obama, but this round it is a very different lansdscape.
What is is like where you live? I am in a blue state, but a more divided neighborhood north of Seattle.
Has anyone seen any negative signs aimed at Romney/Ryan? Or is that something usually saved for the incumbent?

Re: Campaign signs
Where I live I am seeing more of the negative being on bumper stickers vs signage, all negative for Obama.
I have seen Romney/Ryan signs, but not as many as I remember in the past. I attributed it to the outrage the area has expressed in recent election cycles to the litter that remains after the election. Also I know there were many signs stolen and vandalized previously.
There are a lot of bumper stickers around here too, my neighbor still has a "Kerry, he's so very" sticker from 2004, lol.
This morning on our walk I saw two houses next door to each other with "nope" signs positioned directly across from the Obama/Biden signs in the yards across the street. Must make for some fun talk at the mailboxes.
I haven't really seen many yard signs. And we have a sweet new law prohibiting the bazillion signs polluting medians and streets.
But what I have seen has either been anti-Obama or for Obama. Some actually for Mitt. Which is kinda telling as to people's (republican's) sentiment- not necessarily for Romney. But rather anyone but Obama.
I'm in the swing state of Ohio. I've seen many Romney-Ryan signs, only one "NObama, keep the change" and five or six "Stop the war on coal. Fire Obama."
I have not seen as many signs, but there are more Romney-Ryan ones in our area. I have noticed them more in the past wk, probably after the debate.
