• Highs? Annabelle turned 3 on Sunday and we had a small party for her Saturday. The Tag Reader was a huge hit and she's been playing/reading with it all weekend and Monday.
  
• Lows? Getting out of my bed on Monday and Tuesday. I really don't like this cold weather at all.
  
• Eat/make anything good? My aunt made A's birthday cake and it was huge hit.
  
• Watch anything good? The O's game on Friday night was wonderful.
  
• Read anything good? I just started Fifty Shades Darker this morning.
  
• Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? My work is really pushing that I get my flu shot this week, I'm still not 100% over this cold. I have until December to get the shot, so I may wait until I'm better.
  
• What are you looking forward to this week? The girls and I are going to Eastern Shore on Saturday to visit some friends. I hope the weather is nice and not rainy.

• Highs? Had fun at Harvest Fest and had a successful dinner party for my Dad's birthday.
  
• Lows? My Dad had a cold and I fear I'm coming down with one now too.

• Read anything good? Reading Hemingway's Girl. I love it and don't want to finish it.
  
• Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? This dreary weather is making me so sleepy. I just want to be at home, snuggled up on the new couch reading my book.
  
• What are you looking forward to this week? Anniversary dinner Thursday

• Highs? DH got our kitchen, foyer, and powder room all painted and the kitchen is coming along great. We even got a home cooked meal at ILs on Sunday.
  
• Lows? I'm sick of eating out. DS is in full on tantrum mode. I got some sad news from a family member.
  
• Eat/make anything good? Blizzard from Dairy Queen.
  
• Watch anything good? More SOA, DIY network, and some SVU reruns.
  
• Read anything good? I read like the first 5 pages of Gone Girl.
  
• Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? AW: DS is constantly amazing us. He is learning a new word every couple of days and talking non-stop! He keeps DH and I laughing a lot. Vent: He is also a champion with the tantrums. It's awesome to carry him out to the car, literally kicking and screaming. Also, we've been eating out all the time since we have no kitchen and taking a 16 month old to a restaurant every night is basically just a bad idea.
  
• What are you looking forward to this week? The floor being done and our kitchen should be 95% done by the end of the week!!

• Highs? Spent the night at an Inn on the Shore. Such a nice little getaway.
• Lows? I was really tired on Sunday, but it was OK because it was the perfect day to lay on the couch while DH watched football.
• Eat/make anything good? I had cioppino at the Inn's restaurant on Saturday night, and then I made salmon with an avocado salsa on Sunday night.
• Watch anything good? I love all the new shows on now. It wasn't over the weekend, but I watched the first two episodes of the Mindy Project last night. I always thought her character was annoying on the Office, and I originally thought this was an office spin-off on NBC. When I discovered it wasn't, I watched, and I was pleasantly surprised.
• Read anything good? Yes, I read Gone Girl! Loved it! What a crazy book!
• Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? At work, we're being forced us to start filling out timesheets with exactly what we do during the day and how long we do it. It's micromanagement at its finest.
• What are you looking forward to this week? We're going to a beer festival on the Shore on Saturday, though I will say that I wouldn't mind staying home instead...

Highs? Nice weekend with my family, despite the weather
Lows? My family didn't want to deal with the rain on Sunday so we didn't go to RennFest.  We will try for next weekend.  
Eat/make anything good? No cooking this weekend.  The monkey bread dessert at Greene Turtle was awesome. 
Watch anything good? Almost finished season 3 of SOA.  Watched both RHONJ reunions
Read anything good? Nope
Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? AW: I had an awesome (and free!) idea for marketing our business and holy moly did it pay off!! It equated to a bunch of sales and tripled our "likes" on FB.  Vent: My mom is insane. She flies off the handle about everything. 
What are you looking forward to this week? Five days off!

Highs? Getting our newborn photos back!

Lows? I'm struggling with feeling isolated and lonely, and it came out a lot this weekend because DH was taking some (much deserved) time off to hang out with his friends.

Eat/make anything good? Aside from party food at a shower on Sunday, which sucked, I can't even remember what I ate this weekend.

Watch anything good? Downton Abbey! I got hooked last week!

Read anything good? Nope

Vents, FFCs, comments, AWs, etc? Many of you have seen these already, but I have to AW some of the newborn photos

 

What are you looking forward to this week? We're meeting with a potential daycare provider last night (bumped from last week), and I'm hopeful that it will work out. This coming weekend, if the weather cooperates, we're leaving Liam with my Mom and taking Mia to the renaissance festival. I haven't been yet this season, she's been eager to go, and I'm looking forward to being able to spend some time with my girl without having to tend to her brother. I've had some mommy guilt lately ;/

Aw, we'll be there Saturday! I don't like going on Sundays now that I have kids - it's just too long of a day, too long of a drive, for everyone to be refreshed and ready for Monday morning.
