Waxing "sideburns"

I've been considering waxing my Elvis looking sideburns lately lol I've been told that its super painful in that area though and was interested to hear what you ladies have to say. Is there a better way to get rid of them than waxing? Laser hair removal or electrolysis isn't in my budget at the moment :/

Re: Waxing "sideburns"

  • My problem isn't the quantity of hair, but rather that it's dark and somewhat obvious. I use Sally Hansen bleach. They have a face product in a tube like lip gloss.  That may not meets your needs if there's lots of hair there for you.
  • I've waxed mine before. I'm not a fan of bleaching sideburns because you can still see the hair. I haven't done it in a while, and it hasn't been bothering me too badly... so think the hair came in a bit finer this time.

The only annoying thing is sometimes I breakout when I wax my eyebrows and my sideburns.  It usually goes away after a few days, but don't be surprised if that happens.  It's a normal reaction.

I wouldn't say that it's SUPER painful.  It's more painful than an eyebrow wax.  But trust me... laser hair removal hurts more than waxing your sideburns. Especially LHR on your bikini.
