Hello all,
In typical crummy little sister fashion, I borrowed my sister's scarf for a wedding. Unfortunately, it was taken off my chair when I was on the dance floor and has not turned up. I come to find out that this scarf is my sister's absolute FAVORITE which she purchased in Provence a decade ago.
I'm trying not to lose hope that it will show, but in the meantime, I'm trying to find a perfect scarf to replace it with.
The scarf is light-weight, with pastel-esque pink and green shades, with a paisley print. It kind of looks like the sort of scarf you would buy on the street in Europe, except maybe a bit nicer quality. Does anyone know of an online store that sells this kind of scarf??? Any help would be OH so appreciated.
Thank in advance, from one sister to another...
Jessica
Re: Pink & Green Paisley Scarf - PLEASE help me find a replica!
As soon as I heard pink & green, I thought Lilly Pulitzer. I found this scarf on their website, but I think it's brighter/louder than you had in mind.
Also, check out Etsy. That had quite a few hits when I typed in 'green pink paisley scarf'. This one in particular looks like a match; however, it looks more turquoise than green, but that could just be my computer monitor since the seller has it listed as being green.
I'd also check out Vera Bradley, since paisley is kind of her thing. You may be able to find a past edition on Ebay or online via Google. Her current offerings are geared towards Fall/Winter.
Thank you so much for your response and your research! Lilly Pulitzer and Vera Bradley's designs are a bit too 'loud' for what I'm looking for. It's also has more pink (of the soft, rosy variety) than green.
Maybe this? I know the picture is crap, but the colors seem similar:
