What do you think of this b-day gift for my new DH?
Sunday is DH's birthday, and I like to be creative with gifts and DIY, but I'm wondering if this idea is kind of dumb and DH will be disappointed. He loves to grill, so I was thinking of putting a basket together for him with:
- Grill rubs and spices
- Sauces
- New set of tongs
- Grilling mit
- Meat thermometer
- BBQ cookbook
- His favorite snacks (beef jerkey, nuts, etc.)
He's always checking out the spice section in the store and trying new recipes, but I don't know. Should I think of something else?
P.S. This is my first post as a Nestie!
Re: What do you think of this b-day gift for my new DH?
I love your idea! Men always love anything associated with grilling! I think your gift is sufficient and great, and you don't have to do anything else. If you decide to add anything else, I suggest the BBQ Grill Tool Set from Williams-Sonoma. It comes in a beautiful grill tool box, and the grill tools are solid. I bought it one year for my dad, and he loved it, and I suggested it to my friend this year for her husband for Father's Day, and her husband loved it. I am not sure if they still do it, but you when I bought it for my dad, you could have it personalized with a name or initials.
p.s. Welcome! I am new here too!
