One of our gubernatorial debates is on right now, and it is pretty interesting to watch right after the VP debate. The tone is so different.
Do any of you watch or go to any local debates or town halls? Anyone else in a toss up state?

Re: Local Debates
my read shelf:
I've watched a few, and they're interesting. So much less polished than national politics, but in some ways they're more substantive. Local is especially interesting because we live in an ultra-liberal city, so it's not right v left. It's pretty cool.
But it can be hard to stay informed because they're not always very well covered in my area
