I need help picking a name for my new puppy

Female 5 months old. Purebred chihuahua

The people I am getting her from have named her Cali, but I hate the name. I feel that it is over used, for any pet with multipul colors. I have thought about Phoebe or Fiona, but I can't commit to either name. Any suggestions?

I am a fan of waiting a few weeks and seeing what kind of a name that really fits the dog "comes" to you.:)

Watch for personality traits, little things a dog does that's uniquely his or her own.

You can always opt for something Spanish/Mexican in nature if all else fails: Tequila or Tequila Sunrise, Chica, etc.:)

Well i'll be no help because i really like Cali, and dont really like the names your favoring, but i like the idea of fitting the dogs behavior to the name once you learn more about her. And tequlia is an awesome name!!!

Fiona is my dog's name so of course my vote is for Fiona!

I think you should go with something like Pheobe that has the "e" sound at the end, like Mimi, Lily, Minnie, Bebe, etc.

She's a cutie btw.

She is very cute, I can't wait until she is home. Sadly that wont be until the 27th, because we have to meet the previous owners half way. Thank you for all your help with a name, I'm sure we will come up with something for her soon enough.

i was thinking something implying she was big and tough, since she's so small!
