Clinton: Benghazi is my responsibility

sorry, i'm on a mac and still can't figure out how to make it clicky.  I'm actually kinda shocked she is taking all the blame on it.

  • I am, too.  I'm sure there will be conspiracy theories, but I can't imagine she would willingly take the fall for Obama unless it really was internal to the State Department.

I agree with Clinton that the responsibility fell on her shoulders and she did the right thing in taking responsibility.  Of course, the opposition will berate her for taking the fall and protecting the President.  Reminds me of someone...Ollie?

That's what I meant by conspiracy theory.  It just seems farfetched to think that Obama was signing off on every single security detail on every single consulate.  Even in the clip I heard from Clinton, she said it was security professionals making the decisions - let alone the President.

  • While commendable that she took the fall, if she really felt bad she would have stepped down.  It was a pretty big F up where an Ambassador was murdered.
