I need some ideas please.
My son's birthday is this week and we have to bring treats to school. They have to be store bought, and I DON'T WANT CUPCAKES. Any ideas for birthday treats for preK kids, that are somewhat healthy? Refrigeration is not an issue.
TIA
Anyone can be cool, but awesome takes practice!
Re: School birthday snacks
At that age, my older DD actually loved mini muffins. That's what I brought for her birthday snack in preK.
Mini bagels with cream cheese could be fun. Other baked goods are scones, cookies (especially sandwiched with some sort of filling!), mini doughnuts (yes, I like mini sizes for school birthday treats! Enough to celebrate, not so much they end up on a sugar high!). Non-bakery options like squeezable yogurt or applesauce, Goldfish crackers, pretzels are usually favorites with kids, too.
