Hello everyone! I haven't been a lurker very long at all. My husband and I just got married on 9/23 so I'm moving over from TK. I never did much on the local boards but I thought it'd be nice to get involved!
I'm actually in Kalamazoo, is everyone here pretty much GR?
Ignore the politics and enjoy life!

HI everyone! Sorry, I disappeared on some other boards for a bit and forgot to check this post!
I went to WMU with a degree in Secondary ED, English/Earth science but I work for a bank.
Hubs and I didn't date long, we were close friends for 3 or 4 years, "officially" got together 10/11/11 and married 9/23/2012 so it wasn't long, haha!
We got married at the Henderson Castle in downtown Kzoo, it was AMAZING! I cannot reccomend Francois Moyet (the owner/master chef) enough. You definitely get what you pay for when you go there.
We have two pets. I have a redfooted tortoise that came with me, and we got a little bunny a few months ago. Her name is Lady Monty Bunbun and she is 6mo old. Turd we estimate to be about 3 or 4, she will live to 50+ /sigh. That's a whole 'nother story!
Hobbies? I'm a seriously huge gamer and I can't wait for tomorrow because Halo 4 is coming out and I just bought my brand spankin' new Xbox360 yay! I also enjoy wasting time lurking around on boards, pretending I know how to use my sewing machine, and cooking ridiculous recipes.
I also torment my bun by putting bows on her and taking pictures, I don't know if that is a hobby or just wierd.
This now makes me want to see a picture of Lady Monty Bunbun with a ribbon in her fur.

My work blocks photo hosting sites like flikr so I made up a quick page and loaded random photos to it. You'll find some of the bow pictures there She is stupidly cute. Tomorrow we're taking her speed dating!! Aka: Rescuing another bun from a shelter. She gets to pick, haha.
