What are you doing for...
(if you celebrate any of the following)
1. Halloween
2. Thanksgiving
3. Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/etc.
4. NYE/New Years Day
Re: Holiday plans!
1. Handing out candy
2. Probably eating at home with my dh and mom, then going to dh's parents for dessert
3. Christmas: usually Christmas eve with my inlaws and dh's family, xmas with my mom
4. Nothing.
1. Working.
2. Eating lunch at my parent's then working.
3. Eve- working, day- spending time with DH
4. Eve- working, day- Chinese food with family
1. Handing out candy at home
2. Going out of town for Thanksgiving with DH's family, because it's their turn, haha.
3. Christmas plans are up in the air because I will probably be on call at work and therefore can't be far from home/the hospital. But we are thinking of having something at our house.
4. I have always been the host of my group of friends' NYE party, even before DH and I got together. But last year only like 3 or 4 people showed up, and I think only one of them even stayed until midnight. It was super sad. So I think I'll just cancel it this year. DH and I will probably just sit around the house.
My Blog
1) Not much... I'm undecided about the candy bit.
2) Hosting the families for Thanksgiving. FI is working.
3) Christmas - don't know yet. FI is working again, so we'll see.
4) NYE - probably sitting at home with my pups. FI is working.
FI is a fire fighter. I'm proud of what he does, but it does stink that he has to work on holidays (but someone has to). I appreciate all of our first responders, doctors, nurses, retail workers, etc that sacrifice their holidays to work.
We are moving into our new place on Oct. 30 and we have to be out of our current place on Oct. 31 soooo... we'll be super busy. Plus, I have a presentation that night. I'm bummed I won't be seeing cute costumed kids!
2. Thanksgiving
We have two Thanksgivings to go to.
3. Christmas
I don't know if we have any set plans yet, and I'm totally okay with that!
4. NYE/New Years Day
We'll be in Kentucky! (We live in Michigan) - We like to go somewhere different every year.
1) Hopefully passing out candy with H and my mom.
2) Probably working, maybe have dinner with my family the week before.
3) God willing, hosting our first dinner party with the ILs at our place and then going to my parents house.
4) Snuggling up with H for the first time we'll ever be able to spend NYE together in 4 years. And probably lunch with my family NYD.
1) Halloween - We stayed in and gave out candy, new home so that was fun
2) Thanksgiving - Hosting both DH and my families
3) Working the first night of Hanukkah, we don't usually do much. And we'll do the Chinese Food/Movie thing for Christmas
4) New Years - Going to my parents house for the long weekend since I haven't been to visit in over a year, also seeing a friend from HS who is pregnant and due early Jan.
