Did I miss your birth announcement for #2?

No, I didn't post one. Just starting to lift out of the fog and check in over here from my reading up on all newborn issues over in bumpland. Josh was born 6 weeks ago, after my water breaking in Wegmans and 4 min of pushing. Big brother Max, who turned 2 this week, is pretty unphased by his ever crying little brother and seems to genuinely enjoy him.  Things are good, besides for aforementioned crying.

I love that people always worry about their water breaking in a supermarket and it happened to you. But for 4 mins of pushing I'd have my water break in public anytime. Congrats on baby 2.

It wasn't the big dramatic gush. But I was able to cover myself up and still checked out!

Congratulations!  Glad to hear your L&D was smooth and quick.  Mine was lightyears faster and easier than the torture of being induced with #1

Sorry, in my stupor of dealing with my crazy almost 2 year old I forgot I even posted this question and I disappeared. Congratulations! I can't believe you had such a fast labor AND the calmness to finish up at Wegmans after your water broke.

Out of curiosity, did you deliver in NJ or PA this time? Hope things settle down quickly for you all.

I did switch to virtua voorhees and had a great experience. Though I can't speak to the lactation support since I only saw them once 2 hours before discharge. Let me know any questions!

That's awesome! I thought I remember you saying you were considering switching there. I am in nursing school and am doing my maternity rotation there right now. It's so nice - it's like a hotel!

LD, that's great.  Congrats!  I liked all my nurses but especially Anna Marie (? Anna something...) who was my L&D nurse. Helped me cope with a rough 1.5 hours of strong contractions while waiting for the epi and was just generally a nice person. Every visitor also said Virtua was like a hotel!
