Re: TGIF! Weekend Plans
Happy Friday! This week really seemed to drag for me.
Tonight: Laundry. TV.
Saturday: We were supposed to go to Zoo Boo with some friends but it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate. If we don't go to the Zoo we're going to run errands. I need to get my eyes examined. And look for some costume pieces for Casey and I for Halloween. Laundry. DVR catch up.
Sunday: We're supposed to do the Castle Blood daytime tour. I'm super excited. It's one of the most well done haunted houses I've ever been to and they do a "no scare" daylight thing so we're going to take Gabe with us. Sami, if you're reading this, I think you'd really like it! I'm going to attempt to cook a bunch of meals - one on the stovetop, one in the oven, one in the crockpot. Wish me luck!
Tonight-Run to the mall, I have a stack of returns. Plus, my sister is working early so no temptation to buy anything at J.Crew.
I probably will pick up dinner since Nathan worked at 5 this morning.
Saturday-Nathan is hunting. I may run to Ikea to get some organizational stuff for my closet. I need to organize my clothes. I have 10 black tanks and I could not find a single one this morning.
Sunday-Nathan wants to work on the kitchen, I would also like to go to my parents and pick-up our new to us couch.
tonight I am having dinner at my parents annual "ham fest" which is just a casual dinner they do yearly with friends which started one year when they had a ham in the freezer and needed help eating it. But this year will be more fun because mum recently got the all clear on her latest cancer screening!!! lots to celebrate.
tomorrow brunch with friends at their house. and probably some house projects. We have a list we want to complete before Thanksgiving.
sunday will be typical grocery/laundry/etc.
That's amazing news for your family! So happy for all of you.
That is awesome news Amanda! That indeed is an excellent reason for a celebration!
Definitely fantastic news, Amanda! Ryan - good luck with your cooking bonanza!
Kris - love the pics of the dogs - I noramlly can't see siggy pics at work, this was a nice treat to see this morning!
Tonight: I have to work and am kinda bummed about it - I haven't worked a Fri night since early Spring!
Saturday: Kodi goes to get groomed in the morning followed immediately by getting his bordatella shot at the PetSmart LuvMyPet clinic. Then I'm off to work for 1p.
Sunday: hoping the weather is what they say it's going to be, because our garage really needs cleaned out! Then there's laundry and general cleaning to do in between. I'm hoping for takeout that night as a reward.
My three sons!
Tonight - the usual...watching tv, having pizza
Tomorrow - Zumba in the morning. Round Robin tournament for Noah's soccer...too bad the weather's going to suck. (Does wishing his team loses, so they don't have to be there ALL day make me a bad mom?) In the evening, we're going to a surprise birthday dinner for my aunt - she's turning 75.
Sunday - a couple of friends are coming over. And there's a fall fitness launch thing at my gym, so I'm going to go and try out the body pump class. I've been wanting to try it, but it makes me nervous to go to a new class...esp now that I feel like everyone in the class knows what they're doing.
(Also, Ryan thank you for posting about the daytime Castle Blood thing. Noah is dying to do a scary house, but I don't think he's ready. That might be the perfect way to take him and not have him sleeping in my bed the next 8 months!)
Also Amanda - that's great news! What a great reason to have to celebrate at ham fest!
Amanda, that is awesome news - have fun celebrating!
Tonight is our usual take out and DVR catch up. I am trying to coordinate with my friend so that we are picking up our take out at the same time and can have a drink (or two) at the bar while we wait.
Saturday - Our neighborhood Halloween party is that afternoon, I'm hoping the weather isn't too horrible. I have a few things to do to get our costumes ready, I also need to clean out my closet and catch up on some laundry.
Sunday - We are going to Mish's to do the corn maze. Then we have tentative plans to take the boys to my parents, then see a movie and go out to eat.
Amanda---that's great news!!!!!
Tonight: just DVR catch up
Sat: tball in the morning, bday party in the afternoon
Sun: I think we'll head to zoo boo if the weather forecast stays the same. No afternoon plans!
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Tonight - just hanging out at home with the boys
Saturday - Hayden needs a haircut in the morning, then we are going to see Jack & the Bean Stalk at 3:30, then my parents are taking the kids overnight and we are going out for dinner/drinks with my brother & sil.
Sunday - Hallowboo @ Idlewild
Tonight - once the kiddo goes to bed, I'm making a nice meal for DH and I. Anymore dinnertime is a loud affair and we barely have time to talk, so I wanted to do something nice for us!
Tomorrow - the neighboring town is having a Halloween festival, so depending on weather, I'd like to take DD to that.
Sunday - not much of anything!
Today: last day of vacation. Eating breakfast at a cute little place by the beach. Then some fall fun at pumpkin patch and corn maze. Then dinner by the water.
tomorrow: the long drive back...16 hours, ugh!!!
sunday: relax, recover and do some errands
tonight - we're having dinner at Tamari
tomorrow - going to my boss's halloween party
sunday - no plans! hopefully just cleaning/cooking and relaxing.
It's my nephew's first birthday today!!! I can't belive he's a year already.
Tonight we're coordinating a wedding rehearsal at church and then some last minute errands for my nephew's party.
Tomorrow we have family pictures in the morning (outside of course. Here's for hoping the weather is wrong!!), then we have the wedding to coordinate at church and my nephew's party all night.
Sunday we're goign to try to pop over to Zoo Boo first thing, Mary Kay appointment after that and then dinner with friends.
It's an action packed weekend, but lots of good stuff.
