Its way past time for me to retire my 12 year old love.to.hate. but fits so.damn.much vera bradley large tote that I use for weekend travel. Can anyone recommend something of a similar size but with style to fit my 30 year old self that is under $200-250?

Re: Travel Bag
If you are that happy with the Vera Bradley bag, why don't you purchase another one? You can pick a completely different pattern to mix it up a bit.
Another option is to head over to your local Coach Factory store. They have weekender bags that are relatively cheap, and would likely fit within your budget. I also think they have a special sale on Mondays, but I would call and check on that.
A friend recently recommended this one to me when I was admiring hers during a recent visit. It looks nice in dark colors (as stylish as super practical/functional can be anyway) and has lots of pockets for organizing- and plastic pouches for liquids.
