Who's seen or is going to see ARGO? No spoilers
We saw this afternoon and I really liked it.

I saw it yesterday evening and really liked it.
It's supposed to be a big Oscar contender for picture and director.
OMG. It's got Alan Arkin and Victor Garber.

Did you like "Little MIss Sunshine" and/or "Justice?" (Justice is a Fox tv show that was great but canceled after one or two seasons.)
I've never seen either but "The Russians are Coming! The Russians are Coming!" is one of my favorite movies of all time.
I asked that because Arkin won the Oscar for supporting actor in Little Miss Sunshine, and "Justice" was a Fox show starring Victor Garber. DH and I loved it.
I never saw "The Russians Are Coming," but I remember it being on the late show when I was a little kid. I think that was nominated for Best Pic in the late 60s, same year as Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
I really liked Argo because it was based on reality and flowed really well. You didn't have to strain to figure out what was going on. It was very streamlined.
I wouldn't mind if it won awards, but it doesn't seem to be the big-time "message" movie that usually prevails. Affleck would be a good Best Director winner because I just loved loved loved "The Town" and "Gone Baby Gone."
I probably won't get to see it until it comes out on DVD.
