Bamboo flooring from Home Depot

Has anyone here had any experience with this bamboo flooring from Home Depot?

We are considering installing it in our condo next month. Thanks!

Re: Bamboo flooring from Home Depot

  • I can't attest to bamboo flooring (let alone, that particular type from Home Depot), but I love bamboo floors!  It's such a hardy wood, it's practical, and it's beautiful.  If I were installing hardwood flooring in my home, I'd probably go with bamboo.

This. I have heard good things about bamboo floors.

  • My father works for Home Depot, and I was asking him about the most durable option for our floors (we have two dogs and a baby on the way).  He highly recommended the Home Legend Bamboo (the strand woven variety).  He said the bamboo is graded from1 to 5 - 5 being the hardest/most durable.

  • Thanks for the help ladies. We love the look of the bamboo, that it is sustainable and that it is relatively affordable for something that is a real "wood".
