Anyone else start shopping?

This past weekend I bought a few gifts for Christmas. I want to be completely done no later than Thanksgiving, so I can beat the crowd. I have anxiety when around a lot of people, and just get really irritated by the lack of courtesy some shoppers have. So I'm getting a little bit of a head start. Anyone else in the same boat?

I am only about 10% done with shopping so far, but the rest should be pretty easy. I just need a good weekend of shopping.

I completely agree with you!

I'm about 60% done my Christmas shopping and I started back in June!  The more I can get done before the holidays the better. My DH and I have also moved into a new house closer to our families so we were going to host dinner this year.. Talk about anxiety!

I get you on the crowds. I used to have anxiety around Holiday crowds. Not any other time just when everyone goes all crazy over Christmas. It's no longer joy and goodwill. So every year I get gifts early. I'm about 40% - 50% done. Some of what I want to get I need to order online so I'm waiting for those Holiday sales.

I hate the crowds.  I have picked up a few things, but I'm really not close to done yet.  We just got married, so it hasn't been at the top of my priorities, but I'm probably going to get most of it done the first week of November.

I have a few things purchased, and have a list made too.  I pretty much know what I am buying people, so hoping it can be somewhat easy!  Also, I try to shop all year round.  It is less of a pain to do at once, and you don't get hit as hard money wise.  Plus, I can enjoy the holiday week ends doing things I want and celebrating the season stress free!  Happy Holidays!

We took a trip overseas this summer so I actually got souvenirs for Christmas gifts.  Big things for my parents and little stuff like magnets for my brothers.  My trouble is that I hide things around the house and then come Christmas I can't find anything or I forgot I bought something.  I need a more organized way to track gifts!

I keep a box or bag in the closet for Christmas gifts bought throughout the year.

I started my shopping right after Christmas last year.  I like to spread it out so we don't have to spend all our money all at once.    I have quite a bit done, but have quite a bit left.  I plan to finish it all on Black Friday.  I go out early and I don't come home till it's done.

Some of the people I give gifts to are really hard to shop for, so I tend to start thinking about ideas towards the beginning of October.  I usually don't start my actual shopping until after Thanksgiving because I like stalking Amazon's black friday deals, but I do have one person's gifts stashed and ready to go.

I have a box of stuff that I sort of collect throughout the year when I see something great on clearance and then I fill in the rest in December. I am weird; I actually like being in the holiday shopping madness. That said, I plan on doing mostly DIY handmade gifts this year (so I've been pinning ideas like crazy on Pinterest).
