Brahmin purses - Quality? Old lady?

I've never heard of these purses - I must not be in the know.  Are these old lady purses?  I really kind of like some of them!

They're not "old lady purses", unless you look like an old lady. Basically if you dress and look youthful and hip, the purse is pretty fashionable. I have one. :-)

Certain styles can be old lady, some styles are more modern. I think the older crowd recognize the brand more, however, I remember it used to be very popular in the south in the 90s along with Brighton.  Recently they have done a great job updating their styles.

I bought one for my mom a few years ago, the quality is great, she carrys it whenever she travels and she says whenever she carrys it she get lots of complement from women her age late 50s, and they all recognize the brand from the texture of the bag. 

They had a beautiful grey/silverish color last year, I hesitated to buy a bag in that color, I was looking for a picture to give to DH as a gift idea for my birthday, I could not find it, I think the color is discountinued now.

A friend of mine just bought one (age 53). One of my neighbors nieces has 3 and she's only about 16.

Personally, I'm not a fan - I tend to think of older women when I hear this brand.  However, I haven't explored their line much so they may have some cute bags.

They have some really nice bags and if you are able to go to their tent sale, you can get them for cheap!
