I'm fly, I used to post on MN a lot, but haven't been on in ages. I just thought that you all may have some sort of useful info.
My dog started throwing up last night (didn't know until this morning) and now he is covered in bumps and his eyes are looking puffy. Any idea as to what on earth is causing this and what I should be doing to help? TIA

Yeah, it's very possible he ate a plant outside. It's completely normal for dogs to regurgitate whatever they just ate, it's part of their anatomy to help them survive in the wild, since dogs are scavengers. What isn't normal is the bumps, and since the Benadryl is working, it really makes it sound like something he's allergic to.
For the next few days, even after you mow, I would keep an eye on him when he is outside, that way you can catch him if he tries to get into something else, or if he finds the same thing again. Glad he's feeling better!
