Speaking of car seats - Graco Nautilus

I know several of you moved to a Graco Nautilus in the last year.  Jude rode in one in a neighbor's car last weekend and the clasp was so hard to unbuckle!  Has this been your experience or do they just have a crappy one?

He's not in need of a new seat just yet but I had planned on that one when he is ready.

we have 2 of these for Jake; it's not so much the clasp that I have a hard time with, it's tightening the strap!  I might just be spoiled by the crank feature of the evenflo, but I feel like I really have to put all of my strength into pulling that strap to make it tight enough.  It's annoying, but not enough to cause me to go buy 2 new seats, so we'll deal.  Other than that, I'm happy with the seat and Jake says it's really comfortable.

Is the adjustable back all the way out of the way of the part where the straps go into the back of the seat? I was having the same issue with Olivia's Nautilus, it would never get tight enough. Then I realized that the straps were getting caught by the high back adjustable part. So I just moved it up another level and tightening wasn't a problem anymore. 

 OP, I've never had any issues undoing the buckle. I do have issues with that with the My Ride 65 sometimes.

agree - my 3.5 yr old can't unbuckle herself yet, but she may not be trying too hard either.   I still like the seat enough to buy again

We haven't had any issues with ours. I don't find it harder to unbuckle than any other one we've ever had.

I do like the buckles in the Britax better, but not enough to spend the extra money for the FF/booster model. Heather can do the buckles herself now and I'm going to  order a Nautilus for Todd.

Pretty much this whole statement.  We have an Evenflo Triumph in Topher's car and the Nautilus in my car.  I miss the Evenflo...
