Christmas cards

Usually just a lurker but curious of your opinions - is it corny to send a family photo of me, DH, and the dog as a Christmas card this year or do I need to wait until a baby is in the picture?  No pun intended.  What have you all done?  We just got married last June and I thought it would be cute to show how married life is going with our big fur baby.

IMO, referring to your dog as a "fur baby" is WAY cornier than sending out a Christmas card with a pic. Who doesn't like to see a nice pic of the fam, in whatever form that might be, during the holidays? Great aunt Betty will get a kick out of seeing it. I say, go for it!

If you got married this June I'd say include a wedding pic. I think a picture of you two and your fur baby in a Christmas card would be nice. H and I have done the two of us and our kitty in the past. This year we have a formal photo of just the two of us we're sending.

We got married in June also, and we are doing a picture of us and our doggie for our Christmas card!

Was thinking about sending a wedding picture so I'm now deciding between that or something with the fall foliage.  Thanks for your responses!

We got married in August, so this years' will be wedding pictures.  But we got our dog 3 years ago, and did a Christmas card with a picture of our new house and our new pet. We had a lot of compliments on it from family.

I got married in September and I did send out a photo Christmas card. I sent out the photo with our wedding picture on it, that way friends and family that were not at the wedding still got a nice picture of us.  Now the next photo card I send out for Christmas will be hopefully with a baby or baby announcement.

We sent out a photo card the last two years that we were engaged, last year's card included our cat  Since we just got married, we're going to send out one this year with a wedding photo.
