I would have never guessed that. I don't think that news would change the election results as he stated (the news may change results).

That's lame.  Who cares if they contemplated divorce.  Another source tried to get the Romney camp to reveal that Obama did and dealt coke while in college.  I've heard that before though.

I have a feeling a divorce "scandal" would have more impact on the religious conservative side than on the liberal side. If that's what it is, I don't really see it affecting Obama voters.
