Has anyone switched to DirectEnergy?
We're thinking about switching our electric supplier, and I've seen that Direct Energy is offering a rate 25% lower than our current Duquesne Light bill, and that a portion of the bill will go the The Pittsburgh Promise. That's intriguing to me, but I'm interested to hear from anyone who made the switch. Did your bill go down or were there other fees leaving it the same amount? How has their customer service been?
Re: Has anyone switched to DirectEnergy?
we switched to Stream Energy about a year ago - i actually just renewed yesterday. We are saving about 20%+ on the Duq Light rate - i think our rate is .0072 kW/ or something like that. Nothing toward the Pittsburgh Promise or anything like that.
no issues with customer service - I still get a bill from Duq Light - it's just like business as usual with a cheaper bill
ETA - if you want the rep's name just let me know - it was a very painless set up
