Finally we agree on something! Yay! He IS a very classy guy.

  • Too bad Obama isn't as nasty and arrogant with our enemies as he is with fellow citizens who simply disagree with him.

  • To be fair though, Romney is a bullshiitter. I don't know how anybody could think otherwise. He has been on both sides of nearly every issue. And don't give me the "he is just good at working with others across the aisle" crap.

Cats, I have seen you be way more nasty than Obama could ever be. You called him a bastard and Satan just the other day. Hypocritical much?

I'm not a hypocrite. I'm not voting for him. He caused enough debit in only 4 year's time.

ITA.  Romney is an extreme panderer, he literally changes his policy depending on the election.  If that's not a bullsh!tter, what is?

  • Tacky.

I'll wish in one hand and spit in the other for this to get the same outraged coverage as the Bush comment about Adam Clymer being an ***.

He bullshitted Americans regarding the economy. Didn't Obama state that he would cut the deficit in half in 2008? HE D.I.D.N.O.T.

  • Sorry, I've been a lurker for a while but here goes...

I'm just wondering if all of you who are continuously shouting the latest R talking point "Benghzai!!!", could actually (without using Wikipedia or YouTube) point out Benghazi, or Libya for that matter, on a map.

It's much easier to make cheap talking points than to actually understand foreign policy though, isn't it?

A politician not doing something exactly as he said he would?!? UNHEARD OF!!!

Sometimes I hope Romney wins just so all you Obama haters would see that he is not going to make things any better. But no, not really, that would be terrible.

  • Scenario 1:

Obama tells us immediately that Benghazi was an act of terror, but gets the terrorist organization wrong because they haven't gotten enough intelligence yet.

Response by right:  OMG!  He's such a horrible president! Why can't he tell which terrorists are really responsible?  He's such an idiot.

    Scenario 2:

Obama did exactly what he did in reality.

Response from right:  OMG!  Why did he LIEEEEEE to us? He's definitely untrustworthy and knows nothing about foreign policy.

Obama: Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Right BUT he did not cut it at all! He promised to cut the deficit instead he added trillions to it. Did he say that he wouldn't deserve re-election if he didn't follow through? (I forget the exact quote).

We don't knowy that Romney will make things better. But, he can't be worse than Obama. He's worth a shot.

I think you are being over dramatic.  I would have been fine with Obama saying they believed it was a terrorist attack and would have understood that they may not have known all the details.  But it seems clear they did know it was an act of terror even as it was happening.

What I don't agree with is being misled, being told it was a spontaneous demonstration over some stupid youtube video that got out of hand.

The bottom line is that 4 of my fellow Americans are dead, they were crying for help and had been for some time.  Now, I am not saying Obama is directly responsible for that....I am just wondering if things had been handled differently would those men still be with us.

  • I don't think I'm being over dramatic at all.

The general consensus from the Rs on this board is that Obama is the devil incarnate.  He is incapable of doing anything right.

So it would make sense that the Rs would use any hesitation or any questioning on Obama's part to the Benghazi attack as a sign of weakness.

If the initial reports had come two hours before the attack, I would be more inclined to agree that Obama made a huge mistake.

w/r/t your last point, it's possible they would still be with us, but there's no guarantee that another embassy wouldn't have been attacked.

Well I have never likened Obama to the devil and if you look at some old posts I have criticized (cats) for calling him Satan. Name calling does nothing to help the situation we find ourselves in here in America.

Obama seems like a cool guy, a man of high intelligence, a doting father, a loving husband...heck I would hang out and have a beer with him.

I just happen to not agree with his politics, nothing personal...I don't feel he is governing this country in the way I feel is best.

See, I can respect that. I have no issues with people disagreeing with Obama. Cool. I don't agree with very thing he does either. I just find it nauseating that people think he is an evil guy who is trying to destroy America.
