Re: TGIF!!! :-)
TGIF and it's payday for me! Yay!
This week went by both fast and slow for me. I'm just grateful it's Friday and that everyone I hate at work took the day off! woohoo! Also only 12 more days until I see my H!
Tonight I'm just going to go shopping at Target and do laundry. Hopefully. Yesterday I was going to do laundry and I ended up bundled on the couch watching Netflix.
Tomorrow I need to get my costume together and attend a baby's 1st birthday with my mom. I also have 2 halloween parties that night.
Sunday is Church and lunch with the family. I might also start packing my clothes because I am so excited to see my H.
I am SOOOO ready for the weekend!
Tonight I have a chiro appt then meeting up with a friend at Starbucks. DH and I will probably watch a movie or something tonight.
Tomorrow I am going to a friends Scentsy party.
Sunday we have Sunday school and church. In the afternoon teh school is putting on a Kids Karnival.... Carter is SO excited!
Rave: I have been off work all week which has been great! I am an assistant teacher and we get a full week off for Fall Break. It's pretty awesome. Until today, the weather all week has been beautiful and I've gotten to enjoy the weather and get a lot of stuff done!
Rant: During fall break I always try to get stuff taken care of like doctor's appointments, etc. so I had tons of appointments all week. Well...I went to the dentist on Tuesday, just for a routine cleaning, and I found out that I need to have some minor dental work done. It isn't much, but it's going to cost around $200 total and that was $200 I wasn't planning to spend. Kind of a bummer.
We don't have much going on this weekend. We were supposed to go to this farm/orchard/winery place tonight to pick pumpkins and eat dinner, but the weather is not cooperating so we're going to stay in and watch a movie. Maybe "The Five Year Engagement". Has anyone seen this movie? Good? Bad?
I'm super ready for the weekend, too!!
Rave: I had a job interview this week and it went really well. I have a good feeling about it.
Rant: My boss had a meeting with me this week because he thinks I should be making more phone calls (I'm in sales). But I have been killing it with my sales and I make more calls then some of my coworkers. I'm confused as to why I was singled out. Not cool & another reason why it's time for a new job!
Tonight: I'm going to visit a friend at her potluck dinner and she just had a baby so I can kiss the baby and get my babyfix in. :-) And the inlaws are coming in tonight.
Saturday: Clean our old townhouse so it can be rented again then going out dressed up for Halloween at night.
Sunday: Relaxing and continuing to unpack.
I'm so sorry about your teeth, ash - I hope it's not painful for you!
Rant: SIL is driving both DH and I bonkers, but the good thing is we can both laugh about it together.
Rave: I only work 2.5 days next week before taking a short little vacation with DH to NY!!!
Tonight: Last high school football game for the season (no playoffs for us this year, which is both exciting and disappointing). Hopefully the weather will improve a little bit because it's senior night for all the kids and it would be nice to have their last night be decent so they enjoy themselves.
Saturday: My sister and future BIL are coming to visit. No set plans yet.
Sunday: Church and relaxing with DH.
I feel like this week just flew by! I gave my students their midterm this morning, so I should start marking those. I'm coaching tonight and we'll probably go to bed early, since H is starting his new job tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow afternoon, I'm hoping to go to a talk by Carmen Aguirre, who was the daughter of revolutionaries (and a revolutionary herself) in South America. I just finished reading her book, Something Fierce. After that, I have to work at the pool.
Sunday, we'll go to church and chill, provided I'm done marking exams by then.
