Contemplating on buying a new pair of Uggs.

They are so comfortable and warm. Obviously I wouldn't wear them to a cocktail party, but they are great for running errands, lounging, etc. I just discovered an Ugg outlet store and I was pretty impressed by all the new styles.

Saw Grass outlet mall outside Fort Lauderdale, FL. I think there may be one (or one coming) to the big outlet mall in NY as well.

I like to dress trendy, but if you don't care, then more power to you. DH feels the same way you feel. He could care less what's in style. If he likes it, then he will wear it. I just can't do it.

I don't consider Uggs to be "trendy" or really "in style", they're a function over fashion buy.  I live in MN where it's cold 6-8 months out of the year so I have several pairs, however, in the past few years I've been wearing them less and less(they're not waterproof and the tread sucks).  My North Face boots have replaced my Uggs for the most part.

Totally agree. They are functional. For actual snow, I like my LL Bean Bean Boots lined with fleece.
