I've been watching various news channels regarding the death of four Americans in Benghazi. There seems to be varying perspectives on what happened.
Some news stations (as well as Obama) state they have to find out what occured while other news channels say it seems fishy and more information should be known at this time and help to the 4 killed Americans was refused several times over a 7 hour period.
What do you think happened? Do you think they were refused help and the administration is covering things up? Has the Obama administration decided if the killings are a result of the video that was made or was it indeed a terrorist attack?
Re: Objective views on Benghazi
I read that some of the CIA agents there (two that died saving lives) asked repeatedly to go in and assist and protect the ambassador but were told to stand down. Apparently, they disobeyed orders and went in anyway to save people.

Exactly. I think it's pretty silly to expect to be told 100% of what goes down during attacks like this. No matter who is in office, the government keeps a lot of details from getting out.
This. The killings are not a result of the video which only had 4,000 views until this story came out. It's a terrorist attack IMO. and this is just another poor decision by the obama administration.
I've read a fair amount on this incident and all I've concluded is that we need more details to come out. There is a ton of conflicting information and knowing who knew what and when they knew it will be key to understanding what happened. And I'm not talking about basic info like when the white house new there was an attack, I'm talking about the detailed stuff like when person X had memo Y in their possession.
Ultimately, I'm not sure if there will be any one person to blame. It's a complex situation with many moving parts, and some decisions that were made by groups rather than individuals. No one wants to admit it, but even with the best intelligence we can't foresee everything - and quite frankly it sounds like we had really sh!tty intelligence.
Though enough conservatives want to pin it on Obama, maybe they'll succeed?
