Any ideas for what I could serve when I host my book club for brunch? It's about 6- 8 people.
I was thinking to focus on one sweet item and to make a pumpkin bread, muffins, or pie. I really want to make some kind of savory breakfast item such as a frittata, casserole, or quiche. Looking for something tasty, easy, and healthy.
Any ideas?
Re: Brunch recipes?
This Spicy Sausage Quiche is so easy and so good. If you don't use a crust it is low carb.

My standard brunch menu includes french toast casserole (I've seen a pumpkin version floating around lately, too), sausage balls (swap out Italian sausage with breakfsat sausage, and serve with maple syrup), and oven scrambled eggs. I usually serve it with a seasonal fruit salad, pastries, and a mimosa station.
I generally don't serve lunch items, so I guess it's more of a breakfast menu!
For our last brunch, I made
Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Fruit and cheese plate of brown figs, green figs, Anjou pears, Bosc pears, havarti and goat cheese
Brown sugar spiced bacon
Roasted red pepper, cheddar and shiitake frittata
Roasted fingerling potatoes with guacamole
Spinach apple salad with ranch dressing
and a decorated vanilla cake for the baby
It was a baby shower.
