T&P request - Possible torn ACL
Our lab has been limping on and off for a few weeks now and the most recent episode started when my in-laws were in town and she "humped" their puppy, but couldn't stop. She kept doing that motion even after being completely alone and away from the other dogs. It seemed to get better so she went back on her normal walking routine and then after our walk a few days ago she and our Aussie mix started wrestling (normal) and then wouldn't put any pressure on it.
We had some friends over Sat night and our neighbors said that was exactly how their bulldogs acted when they tore their ACL's. Both of theirs have torn both back legs.
DH is going to take her into the vet today and I am really hoping and praying that it isn't torn, maybe she just pulled something and needs to be on restriction. This week is terrible for this too because we are watching a friends young Aussie mix and he is normally an only dog so isn't getting the whole leave her alone thing.
