Last night I made chicken pot pie. It was yummy! Haven't made one before, and it came out pretty good. We'll have left overs for a few days.
Today I have a pot roast in the slow cooker. If we loose power we have a generator, so I can keep cooking it.
Lunch today...left over pizza from yesterday's lunch
We went grocery shopping Friday night to beat the crowds. Got a roast, some chicken, eggs, milk, apples, and pasta. And half a cherry pie
What is on the menu this week? chicken & dumpling soup, baked chicken parm, hard cider BBQ chicken sandwiches, pork chops w/ homemade applesauce
Have you made anything new lately? over the weekend I treated myself to a hand blender so I made sweet potato bisque and cream of asparagus soup!
What's for lunch today? leftover sweet potato bisque.
What are your grocery must haves this week? I went shopping on Saturday and I wished I had picked up some cookies or something. I have a wicked sweet tooth!

Umm, today we are having the beef roast I made Saturday that we weren?t able to eat, tomorrow we are having leftover Polish Chili that my mom made, I am feeling like tacos on Wednesday and I am not sure for Thursday because I am going to my mom?s.

Not really... I made a beef veggie soup (second time but not for like a year) and it was FABULOUS! I froze three small (lunch) portions and two big dinner portions.

Nothing because I did freezer meals? though I did get oatmeal this weekend and made it Sunday for us for breakfast. It was awesome.
What is on the menu this week? Enchilada's, spaghetti, taco salad
Have you made anything new lately? No sadly. So much going on with MIL and our furbaby and Hubby being out of town that we haven't really been home.
What's for lunch today? Not sure. Hubby has the day off so he is taking me to lunch!
What are your grocery must have this week? Sounding like a broken record...not sure. H went shopping without me on Saturday while my mom and I were at a birthday party and I haven't even looked in the house to see what he bought. I already had bought/prepared meals for this week, so not sure what more he could have found!

This will depend on whether or not we lose power. I'm planning to make salisbury steak and potatoes tonight

The usuals- lettuce, bread, cold cuts, milk, bananas. Then I always replace any meat we ran out of the week before to freeze- This week it was chicken drumsticks. I also bought dijon mustard to use in a specific recipe.

Corn chowder, tacos, loaded potato & chicken casserole, chicken pot pie, pot roast

The corn chowder for tonights dinner is a new recipe. I recently made a load potato soup and it was awful!! Not too sure what I did wrong but oh, it was bad.

I just got back from grocery shopping... Hamburger, chicken, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, bread, veggies, fruits, yogurt, cheese
lunch was mac and cheese.
dinner was chicken marsala
I have no idea about the rest of the week, if we have power I'll be shopping on Wed since the stores here are wiped clean due to the storm. If we don't have power I'll be cooking stuff on the camp stove out of my freezer since I just put a big meat order in 2 weeks ago.
