Motivation & Accountability Help

I'm looking for help staying motivated and accountable for workouts.  I'm really good at getting started, but not so good at staying consistent and following through.

I'd really like any help I can get because I've gained more than 30 pounds in the 3 years my husband and I have been together (this goes back to our days of dating) and he's getting a bit tired of hearing that I want to get in shape but not staying motivated and consistent with it.

Help?

  • Have you tried Couch to 5K? I was totally not a runner, but I'm just finishing up this program and it's been a huge and amazing thing for me. I went from huffing and puffing after a sixty second run to running for thirty minutes easy. I haven't lost a lot of weight (but that's because I've been eating like a pig...) but I've gained muscle and look better.

  • Ditto on the C25K! In fact, I just re-started it yesterday and I'm looking for someone to do it with me. Interested? I need someone to yell at me when I don't go for a run.
