Dog won't sleep in his own bed, but in mine.
How do I get my dog to sleep in his own bed? He always wants to sleep in my bed. If I put him in his kennel, he whines and keeps me up.

Right now he is training you. When he whines he gets out of his kennel, so why wouldn't he whine? You have to stand firm, give him a bed and a favorite toy when you put him in his kennel. Then don't let him out until the morning when YOU say its time to get out. Praise him for being a good boy and give him lots of love when you get him out. You may have a few days of rough sleep but it will get better and be so worth it for you and the dog in the long run.
This. We had a dachshund that we had to break of sleeping in our bed. It was tough at first but then it became second nature to him that whenever we go into the bedroom at night, he immediately gets into his bed. He actually prefers sleeping in his bed rather than ours. When we got our beagle, we started him on sleeping in his own bed the first night and now we have no issues.
